At Qoroud LLC, we’re all about making your aerial adventure unforgettable, but we get it—sometimes plans change. Our Refund Policy is designed to be fair and clear, so you know exactly what to expect if you need to cancel or modify your booking. We offer thrilling tours like hot air balloon rides over Cappadocia or private plane flights above the Himalayas, and we want you to feel confident booking with us. Below, we outline how refunds, cancellations, and changes work.

Booking and Cancellation Terms

When you book a tour with Qoroud, you’re reserving a spot for a unique experience, from paragliding in Patagonia to floating over the Serengeti. Because we coordinate with pilots, lodges, and local partners, cancellations impact our planning. Here’s how we handle cancellations:

Cancellations 30+ Days Before Tour: If you cancel more than 30 days before your tour’s start date, you’ll get a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee to cover administrative costs.

Cancellations 15–30 Days Before Tour: Cancel within this window, and you’ll receive a 50% refund of the tour price. We’ve likely already secured flights and accommodations, so this helps cover those commitments.

Cancellations Less Than 15 Days Before Tour: Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds for cancellations within 15 days, as we’ve locked in most arrangements. However, you can transfer your booking to another person (see below).

No-Shows: If you miss your tour without notifying us, no refund will be provided, as we’ve held your spot and covered costs.

To cancel, just reach out to us via email or phone (details below). We’ll confirm your cancellation and process any refund within 10 business days.

Tour Modifications

Need to tweak your plans? We’ll do our best to accommodate changes, but it depends on availability and timing:

Date Changes: If you want to shift your tour to a different date, let us know at least 20 days before the original start date. We’ll try to find a new slot for the same tour, subject to availability, with a $100 change fee per person.

Tour Type Changes: Switching to a different tour (like from a Santorini balloon ride to an Andes paragliding adventure) is treated as a cancellation and rebooking. Standard cancellation fees apply, and you’ll pay any price difference for the new tour.

Group Size Changes: Adding or removing people from your booking is possible up to 15 days before the tour, pending availability. Adding travelers may incur extra costs, while removing them follows our cancellation terms.

Contact us as soon as possible to discuss changes, and we’ll work to make it happen where we can.

Weather and Safety Cancellations

Our tours, like hot air balloon rides or paragliding, depend on safe weather conditions. Safety’s our top priority, so we may need to adjust or cancel due to wind, rain, or other issues. Here’s how we handle it:

Partial Cancellation: If one part of your tour (like a balloon ride) is canceled due to weather, we’ll offer a partial refund for that activity or try to reschedule it during your trip.

Full Tour Cancellation: If weather or safety concerns (like extreme conditions or unexpected events) force us to cancel your entire tour, you’ll get a full refund, no fees attached.

Alternative Arrangements: If possible, we’ll offer alternative activities, like a ground-based photography workshop or cultural tour, to keep your adventure alive.

We’ll notify you as soon as we know about any weather-related changes and work with you to find the best solution.

Transferring Your Booking

Life happens, and we get it. If you can’t make your tour, you can transfer your booking to someone else (friend, family, whoever) up to 7 days before the start date. You’ll need to provide their name and contact details, and there’s a $50 transfer fee per person. The new traveler must meet any tour requirements (like health or fitness conditions for paragliding).

Refunds for Tour Issues

We strive to deliver epic experiences, but if something goes wrong on our end, we’ve got you covered:

Service Issues: If we fail to deliver a key part of your tour (like a promised flight) due to our error, we’ll offer a partial refund or credit for future tours, based on the issue’s impact.

Tour Interruptions: If unforeseen events (like equipment issues) disrupt your tour, we’ll work to reschedule activities or provide a proportional refund.

Please let us know within 7 days of your tour if there’s an issue, so we can make it right.

We’ll need your booking details (like your name and tour ID) to process your request. Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days via the original payment method. For international payments, note that bank fees may apply, which we can’t cover.

Additional Notes

Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend getting travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, like illness or travel disruptions. It’s a smart way to protect your investment.

Non-Refundable Deposits: Some tours require a deposit at booking, which is non-refundable unless we cancel the tour.

Currency and Fees: Refunds are issued in USD, and any currency conversion fees are on you, as they’re set by your bank.
