Day 1: Arrival & First Plane Flight
We’ll scoop you up from your hotel in Punta Arenas at 6 AM—early, but Patagonia’s worth it. After a quick coffee and some fresh medialunas (croissants), you’re off on a private plane ride over the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. You’ll see glaciers sparkling and rugged peaks poking through clouds for about 90 minutes. The pilot’ll point out hidden fjords and maybe even a condor soaring nearby.
After landing, we’ll head to a cozy lodge near Torres del Paine for breakfast—think eggs, toast, and local jams. Then, you’ll get a virtual reality preview of your upcoming flights and paragliding routes—like a sneak peek of Patagonia’s wild heart. Afternoon’s for settling in; you can wander the lodge’s trails or just chill with mountain views. Dinner’s a Patagonian feast: grilled lamb (or veggie stew), roasted potatoes, and a dulce de leche dessert that’s pure bliss.
Day 2: Paragliding in Torres del Paine
Day two’s where the adrenaline hits. After breakfast—pancakes and strong Chilean coffee—we’ll head to a paragliding launch site in Torres del Paine. You’ll get a full safety briefing and a tandem paragliding lesson with a pro instructor. Then, you’re off, gliding over the park’s iconic granite towers and turquoise lakes for 20-30 minutes. The wind-in-your-face vibe is unreal.
Post-flight, we’ll have a picnic lunch by Lake Pehoé—sandwiches, fruit, and mate tea. Afternoon’s for a short guided hike, about 2 miles, to a viewpoint with killer shots of the Cuernos peaks. Your guide’ll share tips on capturing Patagonia’s drama, no fancy camera needed. Dinner’s back at the lodge: roasted beef (or veggie chili), fresh veggies, and a chocolate torte under a starry sky.
Day 3: Plane Flight & Glacier Hike
After a breakfast of oatmeal and fresh smoothies, you’re back in the private plane for a 2-hour flight over Patagonia’s northern glaciers. You’ll see ice fields stretching forever and maybe even a calving glacier if luck’s on your side. The pilot’ll dip low (safely) for epic views of places like Grey Glacier.
Back on the ground, we’ll head out for a guided hike to a glacier lookout, about 3 miles round-trip. You’ll walk through lenga forests and get up close to ice walls—bring your camera! Lunch is a trail-side picnic: empanadas, cheese, and local wine (or juice). Evening’s chill at the lodge, with time to relax or swap stories by the fire. Dinner’s a hearty spread: seafood chowder (or veggie soup), homemade bread, and a berry dessert.
Day 4: Second Paragliding & Photography Walk
Another early start for a second paragliding session, this time over a different part of Torres del Paine. After breakfast (more medialunas and coffee), you’ll launch from a new spot, soaring over Patagonian steppe and maybe spotting guanacos below. The 20-minute flight feels like you’re ruling the wild.
After landing, we’ll do a photography walk along a quiet trail, focusing on capturing Patagonia’s light and textures. Your guide’ll help you frame shots of lakes and peaks, whether you’re using a phone or a DSLR. Lunch is at the lodge—grilled chicken (or veggie patties) and fresh salads. Afternoon’s free to hike another short trail or nap with mountain views. Dinner’s a Patagonian BBQ: chorizo, steak (or grilled veggies), and a caramel flan that’ll make you weak.
Day 5: Final Flight & Farewell
Last day’s short but epic. You’ll take one more private plane ride, circling Torres del Paine’s massif for about an hour. The morning light on the granite spires is straight-up magical. After landing, we’ll have brunch at the lodge—crepes, berries, and that coffee you’re probably hooked on by now.
Before you go, you’ll watch a virtual reality recap of your flights, like a highlight reel of Patagonia’s wild beauty. We’ll drop you back at your Punta Arenas hotel by noon, leaving time to shop for wool ponchos or just soak in the memories. You’ll leave with a heart full of adventure and a camera packed with epic shots.
